V-belts and pulleys transfer motor power to drive shafts across a wide application range from fans and crushers to pumps and compressors. Atlas Yem offers classical (Z, A, B, C, D), narrow section (SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC), and multiple (poly-V) belt types together with compatible cast iron and aluminum pulleys. Correct tension ensures the belt wraps the drive pulley with sufficient wrap angle; insufficient tension causes slippage and overheating. Alignment precision is the single biggest factor affecting belt life.
