An elevator bolt may seem small, but the wrong choice can fling a bucket, tear the belt, and stop the entire line. This component must be selected by size and material compatibility.
The elevator bolt is a special head fastener used to secure buckets to the belt or chain. The large round or square head geometry provides maximum contact area with the belt surface, distributing load across the bolt face. Atlas Yem elevator bolt and nut sets are available in galvanized or stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Bolts not tightened to correct torque values shorten both belt and bucket life — installation torque is therefore critical.
